What it does

- Per-app, per-network rulesTap the Wi-Fi, mobile-data or roaming icon next to an app to allow or block it there. Allow on Wi-Fi but block on mobile data, or block only while roaming.
- Eight filter listsTrackers & analytics, malware & phishing, threat intelligence, torrent trackers, adult content, social networks, gambling and fake news. Switch one on and its domains are blocked; enabled lists update once a day.
- The connection logWhich app reached which domain or IP, allowed or blocked, and why. Search it, filter it to blocked entries only, and export it as CSV.
- Watch and cut your data usageBytes sent and received per app, by day, week or month, with daily and monthly alerts. Silencing background traffic cuts your bill.
- Lockdown and automatic blockingBlock everything except the apps you allow in lockdown, block while the screen is off, and block newly installed apps until you allow them.
- Encrypted DNSDoH and DoT hide which sites you visit from your network and your ISP. It falls back to plain DNS if the secure connection fails.

About this "VPN"
Android needs the VPN permission to judge each app's traffic, and shows a key icon while the firewall is on. This is nothing like an ordinary VPN service.
- Your traffic passes through the app, but only inside your device — it is never relayed to our servers or anyone else's.
- Your IP address and destinations do not change. No country switching, no anonymisation.
- Encrypted traffic is never decrypted, and no traffic content is stored.
- The only record is the log — which app, when, where. It stays on the device and expires after 30 days.
- No account is needed.
Android allows only one active VPN, so this cannot run alongside another VPN app.
